Zeitgeist Movement Sweeps Campus
Students participated in bringing the Zeitgeist movement to Alcorn through civil duty that informed about community awareness and surrounding issues.
The first program was opened on February 25 with the first annual luncheon and tryout for the Apollo. The purpose of the zeitgeist luncheon and the Apollo tryouts was to inform Alcorn students the mission of our group, as representatives of the student body of Alcorn State University, seek to uplift our surrounding schools, communities and, in the process, restore Alcorn's history of honor and prestige.…

Football,Volleyball Team Work Together with Community Service
Alcorn State's football and volleyball team traveled to Fayette, MS, to participate in community service. They where accompanied by Coach Jason Cable. The day started with a visit to Jefferson County Middle School's Boys and Girls Club. Where the Braves' football team took the boys out to the field to play football and teach them the fundamentals of the game.…
