"What do the Lonely Do on Christmas" is an age old and timeless song that fits so perfectly in many lives every year. So what do the lonely do on Christmas? They pick up the pieces and get over it! Why sit around and sulk on one of the most exciting holidays of the year? Wait until Valentine's Day for that! There are always people around to make things better, so do not dwell on someone that is not currently present. Spend Christmas with people that have not disappointed or broken your heart. Make the holiday a happy one and realize its meaning. Christmas is a time of joy, laughter, and love. It is about the love of those that love back, not those that do not call back. Do not spend your holiday or life to the beat of a sad love song. Be happy, even if it is only for Christmas day. Everyone deserves one simple moment of happiness. Take time to have that one moment to sit back, take a look at the family, and realize that everything important in life is in front of you.
What do the lonely do on Christmas? They find love within themselves to enjoy the holiday. Buy yourself something nice and maybe even wrap it for the tree. It is possible that the one you are sad over would not have made you happy for the holidays in the first place. No one wants to be down for Christmas, and you do not deserve to be. Pick up the pieces and bounce back, maybe even with someone new.
What do the lonely do on Christmas? They get rid of their loneliness and make Christmas a joyful time. Merry Christmas Alcornites!
