Hey Guys!

Everything must come to an end. And I regret to report that I will no longer be serving as your active Editor-in-Chief of The Campus Chronicle, effective this fall semester.

Being a leader takes a lot of hard work, perserverance and determination to make good things great. And that is what I hope I accomplished with this newspaper over the past two years as a leader. But working too hard can cause a lot of pain and stress as well. That is one of the reasons I am stepping down.

I have been apart of The Campus Chronicle staff since I was a bright-eyed, bushy-tailed freshman. and now that I will be a graduating senior this fall.
I decided to take it easy.

Don't fret, I will not be out of the lime light completely. I will serve as Editor Emeritus (yes, that's right) while another Editor-in-Chief takes over the direction of The Campus Chronicle. I will review the content and make sure that it satisfies the needs of the modern-day Alcornite.

I have faith that my successor will continue the tradition of the Top 10 Questions, Retro Pages, and to the Nines..., so do not worry. (Even Greek of the Week may return)

It also pains me to inform Alcorn students that my Assitant editor nor Page editor will return either. Their hard work and contributions will be missed greatly.

In the midst of the bad news comes the silver lining. You as a student, faculty, or staff can look forward to a brand new staff lineup to The Campus Chronicle. New things bring new changes!

After all of the awards and recognition, The Campus Chronicle will be as humble as the day it was founded by Mr. David Crosby over 20 years ago.

I wish any prospective members and current staff of The Campus Chronicle the best of luck in succeeding and getting the news out there to Alcorn and surrounding areas.

I would love to be a part of that wonderful team, but I have found another calling: Yearbook. So you can keep your eyes peeled for me there.

Also, thanks to everyone for the continuous support of The Campus
Chronicle!

The Campus Chronicle has undergone many changes. We have revamped our image to cater to the Alcorn student community.

We have received much positive attention from everyone, which has been a great motivation to me and the rest of the staff. We will work even harder as each issue comes out in order to satisfy the modern Alcorn student.

We are still looking for fresh faces to work as writers, poets, photographers, and everything in between to work with us on The Campus Chronicle. Feel free to contact us at thecampuschronicle@yahoo.com.

See you on the yard!

Editor-in-Chief
