The Princess and The Frog"

Issue date: 11/10/09 Section: Expressions
Who hasn't been disappointed by a movie that has been surrounded by hype for months preceding its coming only to be let down when you actually watch it? Well I'm pleased to say that "The Princess and The Frog" is DEFINITELY not one of those movies. It was refreshing to see Disney leave the computer graphics alone for a while and return to the animations that most of us in this generation were used to growing up. "The Princess and The Frog" takes us on a magical journey with the Tiana, a hardworking waitress who is determined to open her own restaurant. Just as she is about to make her dreams come true, fate sets in and deals her an unfair card. Realizing that she does not have long to act, Tiana meets Prince Naveen, who is trapped inside the body of a frog, and together the two travel on a musical journey with some lovable characters to be changed back in time to save her restaurant. The movie, which is rated G, will be enjoyed by all audiences.
